Darioush – Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 Signature – Napa Valley

Darioush – Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 Signature – Napa Valley

The nose is fruity, elegant, beautifully aromatic and powerful. It reveals notes of black cherry, cassis and small notes of wild raspberry, wild strawberry associated with touches of liquorice, redcurrant jam as well as discreet hints of spices, very discreet hints of Sichuan pepper and an imperceptible hint of grove. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers minerality, a beautiful definition, tension, concentration, a beautiful freshness as well as power (but well balanced / controlled). On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of wild strawberry associated with slight touches of crushed redcurrants as well as small hints of liquorice, caramelization, vanilla and toasted touches. Tannins are fine and well-built. Very beautiful persistence. Beautiful potential! (2020+)
