Darioush – Cabernet Franc 2016 – Napa Valley

The nose is fruity and offers a small power and elegance. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, strawberry and small notes of cornflower associated with small touches of small blue fruits as well as fine hints of vanilla, mild tobacco leaf and discreet hints of Cuben pepper. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/mineral frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of raspberry associated with fine touches of small blue fruits, cornflower as well as very fine hints of tonka bean, caramelization and a subtle hint of cardamom. Tannins are structuring.
