The nose is aromatic and racy and offers a small intensity, freshness, concentration, power as well as a beautiful grain. It reveals notes of ripe Gariguette strawberry, dried red berries and small notes of blackberry associated with small touches of violet, Sichuan pepper, liquorice stick and a very discreet toasted hint. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, precision, suavity, gourmandize, a fine grain, a small straightness as well as concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, black berries and small notes of blackberry associated with small touches of fleshy/fresh strawberry, fresh raspberry associated with small/fine touches of nutmeg, mild tobacco, spices as well as very discreet hints of copse and a very discreet hint of gray pepper (in the background). Tannins are fine, young and slightly firm. There are a very discreet hint of rosemary/pepper and fine hints of coffee/chocolate on the persistence. Fine chews on the persistence.
