The nose is fruity, powerful and offers a beautiful finesse of the grain and an intensity as well as elegance. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry, ripe strawberry and small notes of cassis associated with small touches of violet, raspberry, hints of kirsch cherry, liquorice, dried flowers (cornflower, rose) as well as very discreet hints of liquorice stick, Cuben pepper, tea and spices. The palate is fruity, beautifully juicy, suave and offers a beautiful definition, a delicate texture, a good finesse of the grain, a good structure as well as a slightly acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy black cherry, fleshy raspberry and small notes of wild blackberry, wild strawberry associated with small touches of small berries, slight hints of liquorice stick, blond tobacco leaves, Bourbon vanilla as well as discreet hints of sweet spices, discreet hints of nutmeg and toasted hazelnut. Tannins are well-built, elegant and slightly firm/structuring. There is a discreet hint of mocha on the finish.
