The nose is fruity, ripe, elegant and offers gourmandize, power as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, blackberry and small notes of ripe raspberry and small notes of violet associated with small touches of Cuben pepper, spices as well as very discreet hints of laurel/laurel berries. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant and offers a good definition, juiciness as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, ripe/juicy wild raspberry and small notes of juicy/ripe wild blackberry associated with fine touches of violet, liquorice as well as very discreet hints of local grove. Tannins are elegant. Good length.
