Cruz – Colheita 1985 – Porto

(Bottled in 2015) The nose is fresh, aromatic and relatively gourmand. It reveals notes of honey apple associated with fine notes of tarte Tatin, marmalade, dried fruit / hazelnut, hints of exotic fruit as well as a discreet touch of cinnamon and almond. The palate is fruity, gourmand, relatively fat and offers an acid frame, suavity and a good volume. In the mouth this Porto expresses notes of candied lemon, honey apple and hints of marmalade, orange associated with discreet notes of caramel, hints of exotic fruits and a discreet touch of hazelnut / nuts. Good length.
