Croix de Beaucaillou 2014 – Saint-Julien

(60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot) The nose is relatively concentrated. It reveals notes of black fruit combined with light notes of leather, cedar and tobacco. The palate is fresh, well structured and juicy. In the mouth it expresses notes of blackberry, strawberry and slight notes of blueberry, black cherry and plum associated with a touch of flint, flowers, toasted wood woody and vanilla on the finish. Tannins are fine and firm. Good length.
