The wine shows a bright ruby purple colour. The nose is initially restrained, needs air to open up, later revealing nuances of crunchy red and sour black cherries, a touch of cranberries, savoury notes of balsamic, black olives and black pepper. The palate is juicy and intense, offering crunchy, vivid acidity, well-balanced, ripe and grippy tannins, nice freshness and sapidity. The wine shows a bright fruitiness of red and black cherries, a touch of cassis and black currant leaf, a hint of bell pepper. Juicy, savoury finish. Good length.
