The wine shows a bright ruby colour with a purple hue. The nose is heady and intense, very multi-layered and deep, offering nuances of ripe black cherries, cherry compote, a touch of cocoa and chocolate, a hint of pungent spices and balsamic. The palate is juicy, concentrated and gourmet, revealing powerful fruit concentration, suavity and roundness, good freshness and bold, muscular but polished tannins. The wine is well-balanced between elevated, warming alcohol and juicy notes of black cherries, jammy blackberries and sweet spices. Spicy, warming finish.
