On the nose, fresh, racy, elegant and offers some power/concentration, and a fine smoky edge in the background. It reveals noted of bright green apple, vine-ripened peach and hints of zest associated with touches of quince, lemon as well as fine hints of quenette, peach blossom, yuzu, discreet hints of spice, a subtle hint of pepper and an imperceptible hint of verbena. On the palate, fruity, balanced and offers freshness, juiciness, good definition, gourmandise, richness, fatness, roundness, subtlety in its richness and elegance in its straightness. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy quenette, vine-ripe peach and hints of tart/pulpy green apple associated with touches of juicy pepper, lemon, yuzu and fine hints of kumquat, discreet wafts of exotic fruits, an imperceptible almost buttery touch and a subtle hint of almond. Good length. A fine chewiness and a subtle tannic sensation on the finish. Fine salty touch on the finish/persistence.
