The nose offers power, a fine grain as well as a spicy side. It reveals notes of gray pepper, strawberry and small notes of spices associated with fine touches of blackberry, leather as well as discreet hints of almond and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy / acidulous frame, juicy / pulpy fruit, gourmandize, a small richness as well as a slightly tight structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, fleshy cherry / blackberry and small notes of fleshy cassis combined with fine touches of liquorice, tonka bean as well as a hint of nutmeg and a fine hint of Cuben pepper. Tannins are a bit dry.
