Coppo Bianco Riserva Piero Coppo Brut 2013 – Alta Langa Riserva

Coppo Bianco Riserva Piero Coppo Brut 2013 – Alta Langa Riserva

The nose is complex, gourmand and expresses aromas of varied citrus fruits (fresh lemon, lemon zest, jam of citrus peels, candied orange, fresh pomelo), fresh flowers (acacia, honeysuckle), as well as a delicate, but pronounced sweetness in the notes of vanilla and toasted brioche in the background. We also find a slight touch of menthol, mint in syrup, a fine touch of rosemary, a hint of caramel, honey, wax and dried flowers (linden, chamomile). The palate is marked by flavors of lemon zest and mint in syrup, which we find in the attack. Then, it expresses notes of jam of citrus peels, fresh lemon, pomelo, fresh white flowers (acacia) and dried flowers (linden), as well as a touch of brioche in the background. The finish is mineral and chalky, a little dry, but tangy and chiseled. Liveliness and the expression of fresh fruit notes, which bring energy and youth to the wine, despite its vintage.
