The nose is aromatic, racy and offers power. It reveals notes of cooked cassis, black cherry and small notes of black plum associated with touches of crushed raspberry, licorice, violet as well as a very discreet hint of grove / thyme, grilled aok and an imperceptible hint of coffee. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a good definition, a slight mineral frame (racy minerality), a very slight juiciness, roundness, a small gourmandise, a good structure, a slight straightness, a small finesse as well as power (but well-controlled). On the palate this wine expresses notes of very ripe cassis, black cherry and small notes of ripe black plum associated with touches of crushed raspberry, jammy red currants, slight hints of dark chocolate, coffee as well as discreet hints of cardamom, black olive and sweet spices. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
