Conn Creek – Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 – Sori Bricco Vineyard – Diamond Mountain, Napa Valley

The nose is aromatic, racy and offers power, a certain elegance, a slight austerity as well as a certain intensity. It reveals notes of cassis, black cherry and plum combined with slight touches of very ripe red fruits (cherry, redcurrant) as well as slight touches of volcanic rock, forest soil, mocha and wood. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly gourmande, slightly unctuous / sleek and offers a slight juiciness, elegance, tension as well as a beautiful grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry and cassis associated with slight touches of blackberry, very ripe red fruits, Zan, undergrowth as well as a very discreet hint of mocha. Good length.
