Confidences de Prieuré-Lichine 2015 – Margaux

Confidences de Prieuré-Lichine 2015 – Margaux

The nose is aromatic, a bit powerful and offers gourmandise. It reveals notes of strawberry, ripe redcurrants and cassis combined with hints of oak, chocolate and a very discreet touch of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a good acid frame, a slight suavity as well as freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cherry, crushed raspberry and slight notes of cassis associated with touches of chocolate, toasted oak and a hint of almond. Tannins are young. Good length. There is a slight bitterness on the finish. The aftertaste is slightly powerful.
