The nose is aromatic, slightly gourmand, slightly powerful and offers concentration. It reveals notes of ripe / crushed red berries and crushed cassis combined with small notes of elderberries, wild strawberries and small touches of scrubland (thyme, olive tree …), racy minerality, a subtle hint of Cuben pepper, sweet spices / spices as well as a very discreet hint of dry local forest soil. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers elegance, concentration, fat, gourmandise as well as a beautiful definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, wild red berries and small notes of cherry, wild strawberry associated with small touches of garrigue, crushed cassis, sweet spices (vanilla, nutmeg), olive as well as discreet hints of chocolate and an imperceptible hint of dry local forest soil. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
