The nose is fruity and offers richness as well as gourmandize. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, crushed blackberry and small notes of crushed blueberry combined with a touch of Gariguette strawberry, sweet spices and licorice. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful gourmandize, an acidulous frame, tension, a fine freshness as well as a small richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of fleshy blueberry associated with a touch of kirsch cherry, red fruits, hints of chocolate, Bourbon vanilla, liquorice as well as an imperceptible hint of almond and black olive. Tannins are structuring and very discreetly dry. Presence of a very slight hint of roasting (in the background).
