Cœur de Clairmont 2019 – Croze-Hermitage

The nose is fruity, racy and offers elegance as well as a small concentration. It reveals notes of quince, yellow apple, small notes of pear associated with touches of Mirabelle/Small yellow apple, hints of local grove/sage, fine hints of spices, verbena as well as very discreet hints of nutmeg and almond. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful suavity, elegant, a fine grain, straightness , a certain tension as well as a certain fullness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed Mirabelle, small pulpy/fresh yellow apple, small notes of pulpy William pear associated with touches of yellow apple, mandarine, hints of passion fruits as well as discreet hints of butter, yellow flowers, sense of the place (local biotope) and a subtle hint of fresh almond.
