Closerie des Alisiers 2019 – Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune

The nose is powdery with some freshness and a tight-knit fine grain. There are notes of violet plum, blackberry and, more slightly, violets, combined with touches of tonka bean, fairly ripe black berries, as well as a hint of graphite and a discreet peppery note. The palate is mineral with freshness, tension and is discreetly tight with accuracy. There are notes of fresh juicy cherries, fresh berries and more slightly of violet combined with a touch of crisp plum as well as a subtle hint of fresh rose and a fine note of spice and fresh tobacco. There is freshness and a discreet varietal hint in the background.
