Closerie des Alisiers 2017 – Volnay

Closerie des Alisiers 2017 – Volnay

The nose is aromatic, elegant, racy and offers delicacy. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, violet and small notes of fleshy plum, wild strawberry associated with touches of nutmeg, toasted as well as hints of Cuben pepper, exotic spices and a discreet hint of Bourbon vanilla. The palate is fruity, elegant, well-balanced and offers suavity, gourmandize, a good definition, roundness, a mineral frame, fleshy as well as a very finely tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cherry, fleshy raspberry and small notes of fleshy violet plum associated with fine touches of tea, zan as well as discreet hints of tonka bean. Tannins are well-built. Good length and good persistence.
