Clos Vieux Taillefer 2019 – Pomerol

The nose is aromatic and offers a small power, a fine grain and a harmonious sensation. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, pulpy/juicy raspberry, cornflower, small notes of cuben/timut pepper associated with small touches of small crushed fruits as well as hints of nutmeg, spices and an imperceptible hint of grilled (in the background). The palate is fruity and offers minerality, suavity, a small fat as well as verticality and a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, small juicy/pulpy/fresh blue berries, small notes of fresh/pulpy raspberry associated with small touches of fresh strawberry, lilac, cornflower as well as fine hints of toasted, cardamom, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of cuben pepper (in the background). Good length.
