Clos Vieux Taillefer 2018 – Pomerol

The nose is fresh, fruity and offers a fine intensity. It reveals notes of fresh blackberry, flowers (lilac, cornflower) and small notes of fresh raspberry associated with fine touches of gray pepper, nutmeg and spices. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, freshness, tension as well as finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry and small notes of juicy/fres raspberry associated with fine touches of flowers as well as hints of liquorice and very fine hints of chocolate/caramelization. Tannins are fine, precise and elegant. A fine chew on the finish.
