The nose is aromatic and offers a certain power, a fine grain, intensity as well as precision. It reveals notes of quite ripe blackberry, dry strawberry, small notes of quite ripe blueberry associated with small touches of ripe raspberry as well as hints of tonka bean, nutmeg, underwood and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, finely tight and offers juiciness, minerality, a certain richness, a small fat as well as concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, pulpy raspberry, small notes of juicy blueberry associated with a touch of dry strawberry, nutmeg, sweet spices, toasted as well as fine hints of underwood and a very discreet hint of truffle. Good length. Tannins are structuring and well-built.
