The nose is spicy, frank and racy. It reveals notes of smoke, clove and small notes of cornflower, associated with touches of nutmeg, a hint of blackberry, wild strawberry, as well as discreet hints of spices. It also reveals a hint of cassis, fairly ripe cherry, a hint of sweet tobacco and cubeb pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, it offers a tangy frame, energy, good definition, a certain juiciness and precision, fine straightness and tension to the tannic frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, violet plum and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of bright cherry, crushed redcurrant, as well as hints of cinnamon, clove and smoke. Good length.
