The nose is complex, a bit tight and offers power. It reveals notes of Cuben pepper, spices and blackberry associated with small notes of wild fruits, crushed fleshy redcurrant, flowers, touches of wood, mocha and a very discreet grilled hint. The wine needs to be put in carafe. The palate is fruity, mineral, juicy, elegant, aerial and offers tension, juiciness, a nice mineral frame, a fine acidity, gourmandise, complexity, fluidity and a small incisal side. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, juicy cassis and small notes of fleshy black cherry / Bigarreau and juicy/fleshy raspberry associated with a touch of black olive, garrigue as well as a hint of caramelized oak and tonka bean. Tannins are a bit mellow and square. Good length.
