The nose is fruity, gourmand and offers a good maturity. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, ripe cassis and a hint of fleshy strawberry associated with a discreet hint of ripe redcurrant as well as a hint of toasted oak and licorice. The palate is fruity, mineral, fine, sleek, well-balanced and offers freshness, roundness as well as a slight tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and slight notes of raspberry associated with a discreet hint of redcurrant as well as slight notes of licorice, coffee, mocha, tea and a very discreet hint of cardamom. Good length and persistence. There is a very discreet hint of dark chocolate on the persistence which brings bitterness and gourmandise.
