The nose is elegant and offers a nice power/strength, a nice little peppery side, a beautiful straightness of elegance as well as delicacy and depth of finesse (terroir). It reveals notes of bright boysenberry, pulpy strawberry and slight notes of fresh pepper associated with touches of small dense black fruits, nutmeg as well as a discreet hint of cornflower. The palate is fruity, fresh, elegant, nicely distinguished, all in finesse/control/accuracy and offers delicacy, tension, accuracy, richness in accuracy, harmony, roundness, a tangy structure, delicate, a nice airy/straight side in its density, a nice salinity/tasty as well as a nice complexity. The limestone terroir expresses itself magnificently. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/pulpy blackcurrant, fleshy/juicy wild strawberry and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of pulpy/ripe small fruits, salinity, toasted notes, nutmeg as well as delicate hints of creamy fruit and discreet hints of sweet spices. Beautiful power in finesse/straightness. A nice lacy wine with freshness.
