Clos Dubreuil 2018 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a very beautiful structure, power (but full of finesse), a beautiful freshness, a small concentration, a beautiful quality of the fruit, finesse, complexity as well as a very beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of wild fleshy blackberry, wild cassis and small notes of wild strawberry associated with touches of flowers (cornflower, violet…), very fine hints of graphite, chocolate as well as an imperceptible hint of cardamom and mentholed liquorice. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced, very discreetly tight and offers a beautiful definition, a fine richness, a beautiful tannic fram, minerality, a fine acidulous, a very beautiful precision/definition, a beautiful aromatic purity of the fruit as well as a very beautiful juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/crunchy blackberry and small notes of juicy blueberry associated with touches of juicy/fleshy raspberry, hints of toasted, vanilla, tonka bean/chocolate, toasted and nutmeg. Tannins are elegant. A superb fruit ! A beautiful persistence.
