Clos Dubreuil 2016 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Clos Dubreuil 2016 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is elegant, fruity and finely gourmand. The wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of fleshy boysenberry, toasted, vanilla and small notes of fleshy strawberry associated with small / fine touches of sweet spices, very discreet hints of Cuben pepper as well as an imperceptible hint of flowers (in the background) and chocolate. The mouth is juicy, fruity, frank and offers gourmandise, a fine acidulous frame, a beautiful precision, a beautiful definition as well as a beautiful and racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of fleshy strawberry, vanilla associated with small toasted touches as well as discreet hints of crushed blueberry, very discreet hints of chocolate and an imperceptible hint of almond. Tannins are elegant, structuring and young. There are hints of almond, licorice, blackberry and chocolate on the persistence. A beautiful wine! (2020+)
