Clos du Val – Estate Pinot Noir Rosé 2016 – Carneros, Napa Valley

The nose is fruity, gourmand and offers a small fat. It reveals notes of sweet raspberry, crushed redcurrants and small notes of white fruits combined with a discreet hint of citrus. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a beautiful acid frame, gourmandise as well as suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh / fleshy raspberry and white fruits (pear, peach) associated with small touches of crushed redcurrants as well as fine hints of citrus and a very discreet hint of lemon zest.
