The nose is aromatic, elegant and quite powerful. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry and cassis combined with slight notes of wild strawberry, wood, spices, very discreet nutmeg as well as a touch of undergrowth and caramelized oak. The palate is nicely fruity, beautifully fresh and offers a mineral frame, a beautiful roundness, a beautiful volume, a slight gourmandise, a slight unctuosity as well as a beautiful definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / crushed cassis, blackberry and slight touches of wild strawberry associated with touches of tobacco, a very discreet touch of blueberry, liquorice as well as slight touches of toasted oak. Tannins are very discreetly dry. Good length and good persistence.
