Clos du Roy 2012 – Fronsac

The nose is elegant, “fleshy” and gourmand. It reveals notes of ripe black fruit combined with slight notes of chocolate and notes of roasted coffee. The palate is complex, round, typical, harmonious, fresh and offers a nice matter. In the mouth it expresses notes of blackcurrant, strawberry and blueberry associated with a touch of plum, spices (chocolate, vanilla), coffee as well as élégant woody notes. The tannins are mellow. Good length.
