The nose is aromatic, flowery and offers a good definition. There are notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of raspberry associated with small touches of plum, cassis, iris as well as small hints of racy minerality, spices, a very discreet hint of vanilla and a subtle hint of pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, balanced and offers an acidulous frame, suavity, a small concentration, roundness as well as gourmandize. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy raspberry, quite ripe wild blackberry and small notes of dried cassis associated with touches of small red fruits, lily, violet, discreet hints of cherry blossoms, pepper, nutmeg as well as a discreet toasted hint and tobacco.
