The nose is juicy and offers a fine concentration as well as a very fine freshness. It reveals notes of cassis, black cherry and more slightly crunchy strawberry, crunchy raspberry as well as a subtle hint of crunchy blueberry, toasted and a very discreet hint of almond. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers a good definition, a fine acid frame, fat, a good definition, harmony as well as a beautiful grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, crunchy strawberry, crunchy/juicy red berries and mores slightly cherry associated with a subtle hint of cornflower/bulb as well as fine touches of liquorice, cocoa and oak. Tannins are slightly firm and very slightly grainy.
