The nose offers power, freshness as well as concentration. It reveals notes of ripe / fresh cassis, fresh/ripe wild blackberry, and small notes of violet combined with fine touches of raspberry, fleshy / juicy red berries as well as hints of liquorice and hints of Vanilla bourbon. The palate is fruity, beautifully fresh, well-balanced, precise and offers a fine straightness, elegance as well as power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / fresh blackberry, fleshy / fresh cassis and small notes of fleshy / fresh wild strawberry associated with small touches of juicy/crunchy/ripe berries as well as hints of cornflowers, a subtle hint of lilac as well as slight hints of chocolate, coffee and vanilla. Tannins are elegant, racy and well-built. Good length and good persistence.
