The nose is powerful and fruity. It reveals fruity notes, spice and slight notes of pepper. The palate is tight, round, typical, dense, fine, elegant and quite fleshy. In the mouth it expresses notes of raspberry, plum, blackberry and slight notes of cassis associated with a few toasty/woody notes. The tannins are fine, well done but currently young (wait at least 2 years). A more complex and deep wine that the 2011 vintage.
