The nose is fruity, elegant and relatively powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry, dried cherry and cassis combined with slight notes of undergrowth, truffle as well as slight notes of mocha and a hint of oak. The palate is fruity, gourmande, sleek, racy, relatively fat and offers an acid frame, a freshness and minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, blackberry and wild fruits combined with fine notes of blueberry, raspberry as well as touches of mocha, undergrowth, fine hints of chocolate, cherry and a discreet hint of olive on the finish. Tannins are fine, elegant and slightly firm. Good length and persistence.
