The nose is fruity and offers a small power, a controlled richness, density as well as concentration and elegance. It reveals notes of blackberry, pulpy cassis, small notes of small crushed red fruits, small fleshy blue fruits associated with small touches of crushed blueberry, a touch of iris as well as fine hints of reduction, sweet spices, olive tree, zan and a discreet hint of Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, racy and offers a fine grain, a beautiful racy minerality, a certain dynamism as well as suavity, harmony and a juicy/acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe/fresh cassis, fresh blackberry, small notes of fresh blueberry associated with small touches of raspberry, lilac, cherry blossom as well as small hints of olive tree, a racy minerality, discreet hints of dark chocolate, caramelization and toasted. A beautifully fresh and balanced wine.
