The nose is precise, complete and offers a certain intensity as well as a finely tight grain. It reveals notes of grilled bread, blackberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of fleshy wild cassis, crushed strawberry as well as fine hints of lily, incense, fresh nutmeg, a very discreet hint of pepper (in the background), discreet hints of tonka bean and spices (in the background). The palate is fresh, mineral, well-balanced, beautifully precise and offers a beautiful definition, suavity, tension, a beautiful structure, gourmandize as well as a beautiful guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, juicy/fleshy wild blackberry, small notes of strawberry associated with touches of violet, lily as well as hints of small juicy/fresh fruits, toasted, graphite, chocolate and a subtle hint of grilled bread. Good length. Tannins are well-built.
