The nose is fruity, gourmand, fine, elegant and quite intense. It reveals notes of blackberry and cassis associated with slight notes of spice, a touch of liquorice as well as a discreet touch of tobacco, flowers (iris …) and a fine hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, gourmand, beautifully built, relatively fat and offers minerality, tension, freshness and a beautiful matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry cream and hints of plum jam associated with slight notes of black cherry, discreet hints of cherry tail, cherry, licorice, chocolate as well as a fine hint of cardamom and a hint of flowers. Tannins are fine, elegant and slightly firm. Good length and persistence.
