The nose is fruity, racy and offers minerality, a fine power/concentration and a very finely tight grain. It reveals notes of black cherry, blackberry and small notes of flowers (violet, rose), liquorice and a very discreet hint of cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a beautiful definition, subtility as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy black cherry, juicy/ripe cassis and small notes of juicy/fleshy wild raspberry associated with small touches of juicy Boysen berry, discreet hints of liquorice, cardamom as well as an imperceptible toasted hint and flowers. Tannins are well-built and slightly firm.
