The nose is fruity and offers a fine power as well as a fine density. The wine needs to be put in coffee. It reveals notes of crushed red cherry, crushed redcurrants and small notes of cassis associated with small touches of Cuben pepper, Ceylon tea as well as a hint of balsamic, plum and garrigue. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, a small freshness, tension, juiciness and a small straightness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy red berries, fleshy / juicy cherry and small notes of wild strawberry associated with small touches of cassis, a hint of garrigue, black olive, a subtle hint of Ceylon tea, nutmeg and an imperceptible hint of almond and vanilla (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Presence of very discreet caramelizing hints on persistence.
