Claude et Christophe Bléger – Gewurztraminer 2012 – Vendanges Tardives – Alsace

The nose is fruity as well as relatively fresh and elegant. It reveals notes of exotic fruit, citrus (tangerine, lemon), candied grapefruit and slight notes of honey associated with slight notes of white flowers and a hint of eucalyptus. The palate is fruity, gourmande, well-balanced and offers an acid frame, freshness, suavity and fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of exotic fruits (passion fruit, mango, quenette) associated with fine notes of candied citrus (tangerine, kumquat, pink grapefruit) as well as touches of honey and minerality. Good length and aromatic persistence.
