Château Vray Croix de Gay 2018 – Pomerol

Château Vray Croix de Gay 2018 – Pomerol

The nose is ripe, fresh and offers concentration, gourmandize as well as a beautiful definition. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of ripe wild blueberry associated with touches of fresh red fruits, fine hints of violet, liquorice, toasted as well as discreet hints of vanilla pods (in the background). The palate is fruity, very discreetly tightn and offers a fine creaminess, a small richness, a fine acidulous frame, a racy minerality as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of ripe/fresh small blue fruits associated with fine touches of toasted, tonka bean, zan as well as a very discreet hint of caramelization (in the background).
