The nose is aromatic, spicy and offers power. It reveals notes of blackberry and cassis associated with small notes of spices, gray pepper/Sichuan pepper and subtle hints of black cherry. The palate is frutiy, well-balanced and offers a slight juiciness, minerality as well as a slight suavity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fleshy plum and slight notes of cassis associated with hints of ripe raspberry, strawberry, slight woody touches as well as a discreet hint of mocha/chocolate, spices and an imperceptible hint of undergrowth. Tannins are well-built and a bit dry.
