The nose is fruity, very finley tight and offers a small concentration, a fine intensity as well as a small gourmandize and a very fine density. It reveals notes of black cherry, small wild black berries, small notes of violet, Sichuan pepper associated with touches of wild raspberry, mocha as well as a hint of ripe black plum, sweet spices, tobacco, a very discreet hint of tea, incense and a subtle hint of toasted. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, a fine gourmandize, a fine acidulous frame, a fine creaminess as well as a fine straighthness and a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy black cherry, small pulpy wild black berries, small notes of juicy blueberry associated with touches of bright raspberry as well as hints of liquorice, tobacco and a subtle hint of tonka bean. Tannins are racy and well-built. Good length and persistence.
