Château Vieux Chevrol 2017 – Lalande-de-Pomerol

Château Vieux Chevrol 2017 – Lalande-de-Pomerol

The nose reveals notes of bell pepper/fern and blackberry associated with small notes of cassis, spices and toasted as well as a hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, clean, well-defined and offers minerality, a small juiciness, a fine acid frame, fat as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, blackberry and more slightly cassis bud, crunchy red fruits associated with small touches of zan as well as a discreet hint of toasted and chocolate (in the background). Tannins are slightly chewy.
