The nose is very ripe. There are notes of ripe dark berries with hints of violet, crushed red fruit and a touch of liquorice. The palate reveals freshness, strong minerality, a mineral backbone and some fluidity. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/fresh raspberry, pulpy/fresh blackcurrant and more lightly violet notes combined with delicate touches of black berries, a fine hint of roasted cherry and a discreet touch of toastiness.
