The nose is quite elegant, slightly powerful and offers a fine richness / concentration and a fine gourmandise. It reveals notes of crushed berries, strawberry and raspberry combined with fine notes of chocolate, caramelization as well as fine hints of sweet spices and Bourbon vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, silky and offers a nice juicy / acid frame, a fine freshness, fat, elegance and gourmandise. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and fine touches of Gariguette strawberry, jammy red berries combined with a touch of blue fruits, touches of caramelized oak, vanilla as well as sweet spices and a subtle hint of praline. Tannins are fine and very slightly firm. Good length.
