Château Tulipe 2018 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose offers a small concentration, freshness as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe blackberry and small varietals notes associated with small touches of ripe/fresh red fruits as well as fine hints of gray pepper, nutmeg, spices and an imperceptible hint of flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, gourmandize, an acidulous/juicy frame, minerality as well as juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe/juicy blackberry, ripe/juicy black cherry and small notes of cassis associated with small touches of red fruits, fine hints of flowers as well as a very discreet hint of liquorice and a subtle varietal hint. Good length. Very fine hints of chocolate on the finish.
